How to Edit a Working Group & Its Detail
Introduction
This article explains how to edit an existing working group in the Seamless Admin Portal. Editing follows the same flow as creating a working group, but with prefilled details from the previously saved configuration.
Only users with Admin access may perform edits. If you cannot access the editing features, please reach out to our support team.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Edit the Working Group Information
- Open the Seamless Admin Portal and go to Working Group.
- Select the working group you want to edit.
- All existing details—such as the name, description, and Level 0—will be prefilled.
- Modify any information as needed.
- Save your changes.
2. Edit Existing Levels or Add New Levels
- Navigate to the Levels tab of the working group.
- All previously created levels will appear prefilled.
- Click Edit to update level names or hierarchy.
- To add a new level, select Add Level and define the required details.
- Save the updated level structure.
3. Edit the Nodes Within Each Level
- Open a level to view the nodes under it.
- All node information will appear prefilled.
- Click Edit Node to update names or details.
- Add new nodes or remove nodes as necessary.
- Save your changes.
- Note: Employee assignments are tied to nodes, so ensure the structure remains accurate after edits.
4. Delete Nodes, Levels, or the Entire Working Group
- To delete a node, navigate to the desired node and click the Delete option.
- To delete an entire level, open the level details and select Delete Level.
- To delete the entire working group, go to the working group details page and choose Delete Working Group.
- The system will prompt a confirmation message to prevent accidental deletion.
- Once confirmed, the selected structure will be permanently removed.
