How to Create Working Location

This article guides you through how to create a Working Location in Staffinc Suite. This feature helps define the physical areas where employees are permitted to check in & out, supporting accurate and geofenced attendance tracking.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Navigate to the Working Location (BETA) Menu
    From the navigation bar on the left, click “Working Location (BETA)” to access the list of existing working locations.
  2. Click the “+ Create Working Location” Button
    On the top right corner of the page, click “+ Create Working Location.”
  3. Fill in the Location Name
    Enter a clear and descriptive location name (e.g., “Jakarta HQ”).
  4. Choose the Working Location
    Search & select the associated Working Location from the dropdown list.
  5. Type the Location Detail
    In the address section, add any supplementary information such as nearby landmarks or specific instructions for locating the area.
  6. Pin the Map Location
    Search for the location in the map field, then adjust the pin manually if necessary to match the precise spot.
  7. Set the Radius for Geofence Validation
    Define the radius (in meters) from the pinned point to establish the allowed check-in/out zone for employees.
  8. Click “Create”
    After confirming all details, click “Create” to save the new working location.
