How to Edit Employee’s Leave Balance (Single)

This video explains how admins can edit an employee’s leave balance in Staffinc Suite. This feature allows adjustments to an employee’s current or carryover leave balance within their assigned leave policy. However, editing is subject to several restrictions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policy.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Login to your Staffinc Suite account.
  2. Open the Employee Details page of an employee who has a leave policy assigned and has already received their first balance.
  3. In the Leave section, trigger Edit mode.
  4. Adjust the current balance and/or the carryover balance as needed.
  5. Click Save and confirm — the new total balance will now be reflected in the Leave section.
  6. To review changes, open the Leave Balance History page to view the log of leave balance adjustments.

  • Editing leave balance is only possible when the employee has already received their first balance according to the leave policy’s First Occurrence configuration.

    • Only leave policies with Limited Balance generation can have the balance edited.
