How to Edit Overtime Status and Duration (Single)
This video explains how admins can edit overtime data in Staffinc Suite. Admins are able to change the overtime status (e.g., from Rejected to Approved or vice versa) and adjust the overtime duration when necessary. It’s important to note that any duration changes will only take effect if the overtime request is in an Approved status.
Step-by-Step Guide:
- Login to Staffinc Suite
Begin by logging in to your Staffinc Suite admin account. - Open the Daily Overview Page
Navigate to the Daily Overview page to view all attendance and overtime data for the day. - Trigger Edit on an Overtime Request
Locate an overtime record with any status and click Edit. - Edit Overtime Details
- Keep the current status or change it as needed.
- Update the Start Time, End Time, and Overtime Duration fields.
- Remember: Overtime duration changes are only applied when the status is Approved.
- View Updated Overtime Data
Once saved, the updated Start and End Time and the Approved Overtime Duration will be visible in the Daily Overview page. - Check Activity Log
Go to the Activity Log to review recorded details of who edited the overtime data and when the changes were made.
Key Information:
- If a Dispute Overtime Request related to the same record is later approved, it will overwrite any manually edited overtime status or duration using the dispute overtime data.
- Changes to Overtime Duration are only effective if the Overtime Request Status is set to Approved.
