Information About Multiple & Single Approval Process
This article provides an overview of the two available approval methods in Staffinc Suite: Single Approval and Bulk Approval. Both are designed to streamline decision-making for Pending Attendances and Pending Leave Requests, offering flexibility for individual or mass actions by HR teams and supervisors.
🔹 Single Approval Process
In the Single Approval Process, the approver reviews and takes action on one attendance record or one leave request at a time. This is ideal for detailed verification or handling unique cases.
Key Features:
- Approvers can review detailed information, such as:
- Attendance timestamps and selfies (for attendances)
- Leave type, duration, notes, and approval history (for leave requests)
- Custom approval or rejection notes can be added per record.
- Leave requests can be approved as either Paid or Unpaid depending on case-by-case evaluation.
- Rejection decisions can include personalized comments or required revision instructions.
- Update Tag(s) & Mark(s) of an attendance record.

🔹 Multiple (Bulk) Approval Process
The Bulk Approval Process enables you to select multiple records and apply the same decision across all. It’s best used for routine or high-volume reviews.
Important Highlights:
- Same approval/rejection note will be applied to all selected records.
- For leave requests:
- The same leave approval type (Paid or Unpaid) is applied to all selected entries.
- If using Need Revision, the same revision instruction applies to all selected records.
🔁 Multi-Layer Approval Logic for Leave Requests
Whether using single or bulk approval, leave requests in Staffinc Suite may be part of a multi-layer approval line:
- The first-layer approver acts first.
- If approved, the request passes to the next approver layer.
- Final decision is only made by the last-layer approver:
- If approved as Paid Leave, the leave balance is deducted and attendance marked Paid Leave.
- If approved as Unpaid Leave, no balance is deducted but attendance is marked Unpaid Leave.
- If rejected at any layer, the request is immediately finalized as Rejected (no balance change or attendance update occurs).

Staffinc Suite’s dual-mode approval system ensures flexible and scalable workflows for both detailed and batch processing. Understanding the rules for bulk notes, unified approval types, and multi-layer logic helps teams handle approvals accurately and efficiently.
