Why is yesterday’s schedule still showing on my Home page today?
Short Answer
This is expected behavior. Yesterday’s schedule can remain visible on the Home page until 9:00 AM the next day to support late check-outs (e.g., overtime that ends after midnight).
Explanation
Some employees may work overtime into the early hours of the next day. When the date changes at midnight, they may still need to check out for the previous day’s shift.
To prevent missed or blocked check-outs, Attendance BETA keeps the previous day’s schedule available on the Home page alongside today’s schedule until 9:00 AM the next day.
Note: The 9:00 AM cut-off is a fixed time window that is applied relative to the schedule’s end date/time context—after 9:00 AM, the previous day’s schedule will no longer be shown.
Step-by-Step Clarification
- An employee has a shift scheduled on Day 1 and may continue working past midnight.
- After midnight (Day 2), the employee may still need to check out for Day 1.
- The system keeps Day 1’s schedule visible on the Home page until 9:00 AM on Day 2.
- After 9:00 AM, Day 1’s schedule will disappear from the Home page.
Important Notes
- This is expected system behavior, not a bug.
- If you still see yesterday’s schedule after 9:00 AM, refresh the app or re-login.
- This logic helps ensure employees can complete a valid check-out even when overtime crosses midnight
