How to Register a New Channel (PJP Employee)
The New Channel Registration feature allows eligible PJP employees to create new channel records directly from the mobile application while carrying out their daily visitation activities. This feature helps field teams capture new business opportunities or newly discovered locations without waiting for administrative support, ensuring channel data remains current and available for operational use. In this guide, you will learn how new channel registration works for PJP employees and how it integrates with the visitation process.
Channels created by PJP employees can be visited immediately, but they are treated separately from scheduled journey plan activities. As a result, visits to newly created channels do not automatically contribute to journey plan targets, KPI calculations, or completion metrics unless the channel is later included in a PJP group by an administrator. This distinction helps organizations maintain accurate journey plan tracking while still providing flexibility for employees to register and visit new channels when needed.
