How Auto-Approval Works: Instant Channel Activation
The Auto Approval feature allows newly created channels to become active immediately after an employee submits them through the mobile app, eliminating the need for manual review by an administrator. This feature is useful for organizations that want to accelerate channel registration while reducing administrative effort. In this guide, you'll learn how Auto Approval works, how it affects channel availability, and how assignments are applied after a channel is created.
When Auto Approval is enabled, the channel is activated automatically and is immediately available for visitation. The employee who created the channel can access it right away, while employees assigned to all channels also receive access automatically. Employees assigned only to specific channels will not receive the newly created channel unless they are the creator, ensuring that channel visibility continues to follow the configured assignment rules.
From the Client Portal, administrators can verify that the channel was created and approved automatically through the Activity Log. The system records both the channel creation and the automatic approval, providing a complete audit trail. The updated channel assignment is also reflected in the relevant employee and channel details, allowing administrators to confirm that visibility and assignments have been applied correctly.
Auto Approval streamlines the channel creation process by making new channels available immediately while maintaining system transparency through automatic activity logs and assignment updates. Understanding this behavior helps both administrators and employees know when a channel is ready for use and how access is determined across different assignment types.
