How PJP Changes the Mobile Field Worker Experience

Permanent Journey Plan (PJP) changes how employees experience daily visitation activities in the Staffinc Work mobile app by organizing visits based on predefined schedules. When no PJP applies, employees can continue using the standard channel experience and freely visit assigned channels. However, when an active PJP is scheduled for the current day, the channel list automatically adapts to display only the channels planned for that specific date, helping employees focus on the visits that are prioritized in their journey plan. Additional contextual information, status indicators, and progress tracking are also introduced to help employees clearly understand scheduled, ongoing, completed, or unfinished visits. In this guide, you will learn how PJP affects the mobile visitation experience and how scheduled journey plans influence daily field activities.

PJP also changes how channels are prioritized, displayed, and tracked throughout the visitation process, including updates to sorting behavior, homepage previews, calendar progress indicators, and achievement calculations. The system is designed to remain flexible by automatically falling back to the standard channel experience whenever no active schedule applies or when a PJP group becomes inactive. Understanding how PJP works helps employees manage scheduled visits more confidently, stay aligned with operational targets, and maintain a clearer overview of daily visitation responsibilities.
