How to Create a PJP Group and Define the Plan Period

The Permanent Journey Plan (PJP) Group feature in Staffinc Suite helps Client Admin users organize and define structured visitation schedules before journey plans are uploaded into the system. A PJP setup begins with creating a PJP Group, which acts as the main container for journey planning data, including the group name, plan period, and overall scope. This feature allows admins to define visitation periods ranging from 1 to 31 days, helping organizations manage operational planning with clearer scheduling boundaries and more organized employee visitation coverage. In this guide, you will learn how PJP Groups work and how defining the plan period supports structured journey plan management.

Once a PJP Group is created, the system automatically generates a unique Group ID and determines the group status based on the selected period, ensuring every journey plan remains traceable and centrally managed. By understanding how PJP Groups and plan periods function, Client Admins can prepare structured visitation schedules more confidently, maintain organized planning workflows, and ensure journey plan data stays aligned with operational timelines.
