How to Review and Submit a Channel Edit Request

The Review and Submit Channel Edit Request feature allows employees to verify their changes before sending them for processing. Instead of updating channel information immediately, the feature presents a summary of only the modified fields, making it easier to confirm the accuracy of the requested changes. Depending on your organization's Visitation Policy, submitted requests may either update the channel instantly through Auto Approval or enter a Pending status for administrator review.

After a request is submitted, the system processes it according to the configured approval workflow while protecting data consistency. Approved changes become part of the channel information, whereas pending requests temporarily prevent additional edit requests for the same channel until a decision is made. If the channel's status changes before submission, the request cannot be completed, ensuring that edits are only applied to valid and eligible channels.
