What Happens When a Channel Is Approved

When a pending channel is approved, it becomes an active channel that is ready to be used for daily operations. Approval not only changes the channel's status but also automatically updates channel assignments and makes the channel available to the appropriate employees based on your organization's assignment rules. In this guide, you'll learn what happens after a channel is approved, how assignments are applied, and how the approval affects both the Client Portal and the mobile app.

After approval, the channel is removed from the Pending Approval queue and behaves like any other active channel. The creator remains assigned to the channel, employees with ALL channel assignments automatically gain access, and employees with Specific assignments receive access only if they are explicitly assigned. The approval activity is recorded in the system log for auditing purposes, ensuring that channel availability and assignment changes can always be traced.
